it’s like a surprise whopper in my drink!

Even though it’s  not technically the end of the week yet, I feel like the weekend is already starting on a good note.  I’m ahead on articles for LBtC, I’m a week ahead on my Accounting homework, I’m pretty confident about next week’s Spanish mid-term, we had fabulous slow-cooked chicken curry with yams and sour cream for dinner, and Mer just presented me with a random glass of chocolate malted milk.  I also picked up a fabulous pair of jeans at a friend’s yard sale last week.  I tried them on when I got home from work tonight, and I keep forgetting to take them off – they’re that damn comfortable.

I’m busy, but I’m finding a sense of contentment in the chaos.  I feel as if I’ve finally found a path that lets me be me while still getting where I want to be – something I hadn’t really considered possible in years past.  I can be a stress pup when it’s useful, and enjoy life a bit more when it’s not.  In the words of Annie, “I think I’m gonna like it here.”

And that’s my random spiritual bent for the day.  Have yourself a moment of zen.
